About Vini

Vini Shah has been a leader in the Real Estate Community for the last 12 years and is a Mortgage Broker. She strives to see everyone in San Antonio to OWN a Home and promote Home Ownership. She is very Passionate about her mission and volunteers in the many organizations.

When she first moved to San Antonio in 1994, she obtained her Realtors license and worked part time in the real estate field. She worked at Brooks AFB as a Project manager for Air Force Support Agency for the Surgeon General overseeing the Tri-Care facilities Y2K project. She worked as a Contractor for the Randolph Military Personnel Center. She then went on to work for the Face to Face Unit at USAA and helped with the Phoenix Relocation project. Her prior career was at Eastman Kodak Savings and Loan, Dow Corning and now owns her own Mortgage and Loan Processing Company in San Antonio.

Ø She has been a member of the San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR) Education committee for 2 yrs – where she helps with organizing educational programs for Realtors to Succeed in the Real Estate field.

Ø She has been a member on the Equal Opportunity Housing Committee for SABOR and been asked to be the Chairperson for 2007 – 2008.

Ø She helped with the 2006 Realtor Rally an educational summit for realtors.

Ø She is the Vice President for membership for the American Business Women Association (ABWA.org) for the last 2 yrs. This Chapter brings education to small business owners and empowers Women to excel. Every year they collect funds to give a young lady a $1000 scholarship for higher education.

Ø She is the President for the National Association Professional Mortgage Women. She is committed to bring education for the Mortgage industry.

Ø She is a member of the Women Council Realtors for San Antonio and helps with the Membership committee to increase members for chapter.

Ø She is a member of the Women Council Realtors for New Braunfels and is the Table Top/ Ways and Means Chairperson – where she helps other business introduce their services to this chapter and in turn raise funds for this chapter.

Ø She is a member for National Assoc. Hispanic Real Estate Professional (NAHREP) – she is committed to educating the real estate community about working with Hispanic Community.

Ø She has her own Mortgage Branch with Apex Lending where she is committed in working with all clients and helping them with the Residential and Commercial lending aspects.

Ø She is a Loan Advisor/ Trainer and a Certified Mortgage Instructor (CMI) with the NAPMW Organization she is planning to train with the Real Estate Institute in San Antonio.

Ø She is a Member for the San Antonio Mortgage Bankers Association (SAMBA).

Ø She is a Member for the Texas Assoc. Mortgage Brokers (TAMB) – San Antonio Chapter.

Ø She is currently on the Fundraising Committee for the Board of the Presa Community Center where the center provides services to the community such as food services to the public, Shuttle transportation, Senior Citizen Services, counseling, after school care, courts in schools and much more things for the Neighborhood community.

Ø She also does presentations to schools for Kids to Save Money and show them how the Rule of 72 works. She believes that we have to start educating them at a young age in order to make a difference at a later date. She is a mother of 3 wonderful boys Jaecel Shah who is currently a junior at Rice University studying for his Pre-med degree, Jaimin Shah who is a valedictorian / senior at Canyon High school will be attending Rice University for a Football scholarship and Jay Shah who is in 5^th Grade at Comal Elementary.
